Changing the way the consumer interacts with a device is always a challenge, but to bring the mobile web to the masses I think we will need brave new ways to interface the complexities of the latest mobile phones and the services on offer. I cant wait to see play with Squace. I have a demo unit on the way to me from a very nice chap called Randeep and following some playtime with Squace I will interview the CEO and founder Aage Reerslev and report back on my impressions on Squace and my chat with Aage.

Das schwedische Start-up Squace hat eine Java-Anwendung für Mobiltelefone vorgestellt, die den Zugang zu Webseiten, Spielen oder Widgets vereinfachen soll. Mit Squace wird auf dem Handydisplay ein Raster aus kleinen Kästchen dargestellt. Jede dieser Boxen ist mit einer Webseite, einem Newsfeed, Spiel oder Widget verknüpft. Ein schneller und direkter Zugang, ohne Eintippen von Webadressen.
